- Use of AI: I do use AI for light editing and fact checking. One of the beautiful things about Dad is FIRE is AI struggles to write about the things I write about. I’ve tried using different AI tools to write, and it just doesn’t know what I know. I am a Chartered Financial Analyst that retired at 42. That is an experience that AI doesn’t really know. I do use AI for creating the illustrations. I like them, and hope you do too.

Who is Dad is FIRE
I am a real person. You can read all about me on the about page. I choose to be anonymous because I do not want friends and family, or anyone else, searching for my real name and learning about my net worth. I also say some things I learned from my dad about how not to be a dad.
I do not want to hurt is feelings by reading it. This site isn’t meant to hurt his feelings. It is meant to share my story of retiring early and trying to be a good dad.

Further, if I provided my identify I would be contradicting the concept that helped me become financially free in the first place. The idea of stealth wealth is that you become wealthy by appearing not to be.
If people know you have money, it’s harder to have money. I do not want people that know me to be able to google my name and learn my net worth. But I do want to help people learn what worked for me.
We value your feedback and are here to assist with any questions or concerns you may have.
